Learn More About Stormwater

What is
Stormwater?

Stormwater is when rain or snow runoff makes its way down the storm drains and into our waterways. It is important to know what you can do to help so our waterways are safe. Having clean waterways means a healthier environment for the ducks, fish, and wildlife that live in and drink the water. This also creates a better experience for you and your family to enjoy!

Some people don’t know that the rain and snow runoff does not go through a sanitation facility, but leads directly into our waterways. There are a lot of things to take into consideration when making sure our waterways are pollution-free.
