Whitewater Lake is located in Walworth County, WI in the Kettle Moraine State Forest. It has a maximum depth of 42′. The Lake is associated with flow into Rice Lake. Fifty-seven percent of inflow comes from ground water. Fifteen percent of inflow comes from a south inlet. Twenty-six percent of water inflow comes from precipitation. The final two percent of inflow comes from near-by lake drainage.
The area is know for its recreation activities such as biking, golf, hiking, hang gliding, cross-country and water skiing, swimming, fishing, and boating.
